great place for lunch with fresh bread, delicious garne cooked in garlic, followed by forks and some of the best chips I ever tasted (cooked in garlic!

the west tour on which we were, stopped here for lunch and telephoned our order. we had a full, long table with sea view, on the glazed veranda. I was insecure...

With another mature couple and a young vegetarian couple.We ate.local fish with banana.Others had trout.The vegetarians had omelettes.All were satisfied .Salads...

Our meal was good, we try fish with banana which is very tasty. The beef brochette was very good, The service was good too

We tested lapas: very good! Excellent food, but wine from Seixal is not the best View on the beach

"We ate lunch at the Ocean lounge whilst visiting the sea pools at Porto Moniz August 23. The restaurant is an excellent location at the sea pools and offers diners some much needed shade from the sun and as a result is inevitably very busy. We waited for a table and we’re greeted by a polite waitress who took our order. The drinks arrived in a reasonable time but the food took ages. My son ordered the fish burger and my the rest of us ordered the chicken burger, what a mistake that was! The food eventually arrived and looked great, the French fries were tasty (skin on) and my sons fish burger looked great with a lovely fillet of battered white fish inside his burger bun. Sadly our three chicken burgers were a massive disappointment. The buns themselves looked great but inside was what can only be described as the thinnest, greyist reconstituted chicken burger I have ever had the displeasure of seeing. I can’t believe that the restaurant see it as acceptable to purchase such rubbish (and clearly very cheap) chicken burgers for their restaurant and expect diners to accept this when the prices charged were not cheap. As a result of the terrible food I refused to tip but know that it’s not fair as the staff serving the food probably don’t decide which food to order in. In summary if you are at the sea pools and have no where else to eat be very careful what you order and whatever you do don’t order the chicken burgers unless you want to be served with a thin grey chicken burger that makes McDonald’s chicken nuggets look significantly more appetising."
