"Review for the restaurant only. Lovely to find a tasting menu in the highlands with all local ingredients. Decently priced from the perspective of NYC tasting menus. Straight down the middle with the courses, everything was good kind of what’d you expect. Nothing crazy wild/innovative, they played it safe. The wine pairing was also solid no complaints. It was a good experience to find a delicate menu after eating all the piles of delicious seafood! Staff was super friendly as well. "Our favorite dinners (and breakfasts) in Scotland! We had the pleasure of spending 2 nights at The Ferry Inn. It is beautifully decorated! The food was amazing! We loved every plate. "You must book in advance for this restaurant and we can see why. The food was wonderful. My friend had oysters to start which were large. I had sea bass on mushroom risotto as my main which was amazing. For pudding I had cranachan which was the best thing ever. The restaurant is located on Portree dockside but views are limited due to shape of restaurant and small windows."
