A very warm welcome and then a very short wait for drinks and less than 10 minutes until our food arrived. The food was plentiful, perfectly cooked and piping hot and probably the best roast beef dinner we have ever had. My mum loved the lemon meringue pie and said that it was by far the best one ever. Chose 2 starters as a quick lunch option. Was asked THREE times whether the drink I ordered was a pint or a half!! Ordered the garlic stilton mushrooms as I’d had this before but this time there was no garlic no Stilton flavour. Duck arrancini was very dry.
