Quite simply good cooking, by a talented team run by a host who knows what he is doing. We have been coming tor a while now, mainly for Sunday lunch. In the past this establishment has been excellent. This year I have been twice in one week with different groups and it has been awful. The plates were cold also the food was barely warm. The turnips were so hard it was impossible to cut them. the Tuesday lunch time we did get extra vegetables but the Thursday when we asked for the dish of vegetables we were told that we could not have them unless we had roast beef.... The food was amazing and of great quality, with a lovely buffet and friendly bar staff. I highly recommend booking a function here and am definitely considering...
