It was a dark and rainy night when my wife, dog and I stopped for dinner at the Ribble Pilot. This pub is a haven of warmth and openness with its bright lighting and spacious layout. Since the pub closed and reopened after the renovation work the food quality improved by a mile and I really enjoyed their fish and chips when I first (hesitantly) revisited and the next time when I had a lovely turkey Christmas lunch one Sunday. Sadly when I visited Friday 26th January fish and chips was not available…no fish on a Friday? so I resorted to having the prawn cocktail starter as a main meal…it was nice... View all feedback.
Just had an excellent meal with my family,, brilliant service from the staff just one lady and one gentleman), very efficient and courteous. Food was fantastic.
