"Stunning views, great food and exceptional service. This place has a relaxing vibe that is exactly where you want to be when on vacation. We found ourselves here over and over again while staying next door at Casa Marina. It was a closer walk than the buffet, and the coffee was so good! The staff are lovely and the food was delicious and affordable. This was my favorite place. Will definitely be returning and would love to stay here next time!"

"We ‘accidentally’ ended up in the ‘sin’ city Sosua and found this jewel. All courses we had were just perfect including professional plating. In terms of prices, it’s true that you would pay a little bit more taking into consideration the country you are in. However you would have paid much more in Europe for this type of meals. Although one friendly recommendation as we don’t speak any Spanish we would have appreciated if the waitress could speak some English at least. The owner was very friendly and attentive (but not too much which I appreciate). In general, very nice place for reasonable money. Highly recommended."

"Family night with friends celebrating our great news that we are expecting a baby! Love the atmosphere but it rained all night, the rain was blowing on our party the whole night, the service was slow as usual absolutely no since of urgency but that was the norm. Waited on check for 45 minutes after asking four times. Lasagna was old I could tell, price was very reasonable for our party but adds up quick. Left thinking "

"O-M-G , this is a must-go place when visiting Puerto Plata, i’m amazed with the quality of the restaurant and the prices!! I thought they forgot to charge me for something!!! The beach is just a 2 min stroll, and the whole complex is just amazing, next time i’ll be staying there and eating in the Green Jack Tar again!"

"So I visited the restaurant in the second to last week of January 2023. I didn't have a reservation. I was in the mood for a surf and turf and I called to see if I can come. Mr. Thomas picked up and said if it is only me I can come. Took me 15 minutes to get there and the minute I got there Mr. Thomas welcomed me with open arms and immediately treated me like family. He lit the candle and I had the Pina coladas out of the pineapple and this had to be the best Pina colada I have had. The platter with the filet mignon shrimp kebab and the potatoes the portion sizes were huge and so delicious. I couldn't finish the plate but man it was so good. Mr. Thomas wrapped up the food and gave me flowers to give to my girlfriend and she loved it. From the minute I walked in I enjoyed every minute. Folks if you are reading this and you are traveling or in Dominican Republic do not hesitate to visit this restaurant and Mr. Thomas. He will treat you like family and you will love it. I plan to come back when I am in Puerto Plata. Thank you Mr. Thomas for a lovely dinner. Your kindness, and great cooking is special."
