What User likes about Delice Du Roy:
Loved this place mostly for the outside dining. I love to "People Watch" and this was a great place for doing just that. The food was good and a not expensive. We went there for lunch, and to get out of the rain. I ordered a fruit plate and vegetable plate. My friend ordered the same. The food was good, as the fruit was fresh and sweet. The really good stuff was the wine. I had not ever been disappointed with any of... View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Delice Du Roy:
We enjoyed the thick dark bowls of onion soup on a rainy cold day. The downside was that the bowl was only half filled but the great flavor went a long way. Would go back for the soup. Didn't have a big menu and little charm. View all feedback.

This is the best breakfast we tasted in Quebec City, and in all of Canada! The hollandaise sauce is home made and it was delicious over poached eggs,

"We went to lunch and it's totally wow! For $28-33 you get treatment for 3 services. Watch the menu on the website and it tastes even better than it sounds. Never try, but we will!"

"I don't even know where to say how phenomenal my meal was, starting with a recommendation from the server of a wonderful glass of red wine. The menu changes constantly, so it would not be worth mentioning what I ate, but I got the Focaccia and the Olives and the Gnudi. And then the meal ends with almond and chocolate cake. I am still in absolute heaven thinking about how many layers of taste each article had in addition to the quality and preparation of each dish. This restaurant is worth the time to sit and enjoy each course together with excellent staff at a picturesque corner of the street. I appreciate everyone who made a good recommendation in the reviews for this restaurant as I decided to eat here, and I am so glad that I did it!"

"Third wave coffee at its best for Quebec City. No doubt people running this place have a lot to say about coffee. And if you like brewing your own coffee at home, the bean selection roasted on site could make your head spin. It is a 5 star if you’re an espresso drinker but 3 star if you like it with steamed milk the reasons being that 1) they are using the cheapest brand of milk you can find in the market how sad. It’s like pouring gravy out of a tin on a prime Argentinian beef (no, no, no please don’t do this) and 2) it is steamed too hot to enjoy the natural sweetness milk can bring to a cup of coffee."

"From the first glance menu can appear limited and restaurant itself not very busy and that might turn some people away. But people who will not be afraid to give restaurant a chance will be rewarded with excellent meal.Staff is very knowledgeable about the wines and you can also go and pick a bottle of wine yourself from downstairs cellar. For the main courses we have tried three different courses including Filet Mignon, one of specials( sausage), and Le Planche. My 7 year old who didn’t touch anything, but fries and pizza the whole trip, she ate filet mignon and everything else that went along with it and wanted more. All the meats we had were like butter, melted in the mouth, absolutely amazing! We had homemade cherry sorbet and strawberry cream brûlée for dessert both spectacular, fresh, light, sorbet had just the right amount of sweetness, refreshing, nice touch to finish the dinner. Brûlée airy, great chefs’s twist adding strawberry notes, perfection."
