There's a charming, elegant air about the Hotel Clarendon. The crisp, white tablecloths and the serene atmosphere in the dining room put you in the mood to enjoy a leisurely dinner. The service was unhurried and gracious. The food was excellent. We enjoyed the fish of the day (salmon) and the petoncles (half a dozen plump scallops). What User doesn't like about Restaurant Le Clarendon:
This place needs more dining room help.The maitre d took our order. She forgot the wine and in addition the pour was not sufficient. We waited 40 minutes for the bread. The portions were very small. don't count on splitting an order. Maitre d was kind enough to " comp" the wine. Service was awfull. Waited over an hour for dinner. Would not recommend or come back.
