"I showed up 30 mins early to ensure a table for 2 as I knew it gets busy. The owner did not see me because I was in my car. I was the first one there so there was no reason to wait in a non existent line up. When they opened they seated everyone in line behind me because my guest wasn't there yet. I said ok give me a table for one then. Nope, she would not do it. My guest arrived literally 3 mins later and they were then full. Worst customer experience of my life. Worst case scenario 1 person is seated in a 2 seater. We were not a large party so there was no reason for that rudeness."

"This is a locally owned coffee shop in Skidegate. They bake all of their goodies on site so the smells are exquisite. The atmosphere is friendly, and active. The view is lovely. I would highly recommend it."

"Excellent service! First time travelling to Haida Gwaii with my girlfriends and was craving Asian cuisine. We ordered the hot sour soup and beef broccoli dish to share. Vegetables were fresh and meat was juicy and tasty. Especially loved the salt pepper prawns! Have to say that the food was delicious and owner was super friendly and even recommended places to explore on the island and things to do. Will definitely visit again!"

"We went and ordered pizza as we where driving by. We came back within the time frame we where given. The soup and pizza where ready to go when we arrived. The price was what we expected. The food was great! We had 3 large pizzas and the clam soup. Dont hesitant to make the stop make reservations if planning on sitting in."

"The best Asian Food! I travelled from Flat lands of Saskatchewan. Tried the Wonton soup which was very flavourful. Than had breaded prawns, chicken chow mein and the sweet and sour pork. It was perfectly made and very flavourful! Dick himself even stopped and asked how everything tasted. He told some funny jokes. Very good person : Thankyou for the wondwrful meal! When I come visit again will surely be back again"

"Go visit this tiny trailer right off of the ferry dock, and meet Lyle, the owner, chef, and storyteller. Small menu, but delicious smoothies and paninis (try the Na'arlic Fingers), and play the games read the Dr Seuss books (including Green Eggs and Ham, of course) while he makes your food to order. Only two seats inside on a rainy day, but everyone is so friendly, you don't really mind."
