"Probably the best restaurant in wales. I don't know about a better one. the food was excellent, the wine list is suitable for any taste and bags. I loved my h cocktail. the staff was friendly and helpful to take everything in good humor."

"I've been here several times and it's gonna be a solid one. from personal to presentation and delicious eating it is hard to find mistakes. the starters are beautifully presented and everything bursts with taste and cake hot. I recommend the prawn Puri, Chicken tikka masala and chicken madras. there is not much in the type of dessert, and we didn't really want it anyway, but I'm pretty sure there was an ice in the offer."

"This is our second visit here within the last few months and on both visits the food has been excellent. Friendly and great service here. It's a lot brighter now since the new owners have taken it on. We had a lamb rogan and a welsh chilli curry and both were excellent with decent sized portions. Half and half rice and chips were also plentyfull. The Peshawari naan was the best ever, nice and crispy and loads of flavour. Although the front of house has been tastefully decorated, the toilets let them down. They are clean but quite tatty with broken toilet roll dispenser which could be brought up to scratch quite easily with a small cost giving a big improvement. Unfortunately it is sometimes an area sadly neglected by many restaurants. The passageway to the toilets was cluttered and untidy and this could quickly and easily be rectified giving a better customer experience. We will definitely return as we had a lovely meal and a very good experience overall here."

"We were a table of 6 that celebrated Mother’s Day lunch at the Foxhunter, we were initially a table of 4 but a few days before 2 more members of my family wanted to join and the staff managed to squeeze the extras in on an extremely busy day. The food was served promptly by lovely young waiting staff, everything went smoothly considering how busy the restaurant was. Mums was also gifted a plant which finished off a lovely afternoon."

"What a gem or a pub and restaurant. Wow! Friendly welcome from all staff and the chef. Clean and masks worn and great service. Historic building with a lovely atmosphere with ghost stories, beams and the open log fire. The food was outstanding, from the most juice garlic bread to the tender steaks and great portions of sweet desserts. Thank you Khalid and team for a wonderful evening and I cannot recommend your place enough. No foodie photos as we ate the lot but see you soon for more!"

"Exceptional experience from the minute we stepped in the door. The surroundings, pre-meal drinks, and service were excellent. The taster menu was brilliant. If you are expecting to come in, sit down, and shovel food down and leave in under an hour, you are in the wrong place. This is a place to slow down, relax and savour every course. Each course was beautifully presented and prepared. We very much look forward to our next visit. Thank you. (We even learnt a little Greek and Malagasy from the excellent waiters)."
