"The espresso is bang on, the vegan menu is wide enough to try something different everyday for 10 days or so. The food is well thought out, with what seems to be a 'not unless it 's as good as it can be ' ethos special mention to the homemade baked beans. Staff are motivated and genuinely seem to be enjoying what they do; which is reflected in the service. One of the owners told me they are doing their best to bring in more vegan friendly breads etc which at times can be a struggle in this industry thus far. Go give it a go and get your accompanying meathead to try something that might make them feel better. Well done RW"

"Friendly and efficient staff. Perfect portions for main meals. The steak sandwich was the most tender I’ve ever eaten. The garlic prawns were fresh and the creamy sauce complimented rather than overpowered the flavour of the prawns. The rice bed was perfectly cooked."

"Had dinner with friends. Dinner tables a bit low height of chair meant we were slightly bent over table. Slightly uncomfortable. Food was nice. Served at the door by a very young lady who didn’t know about customer service. She tried to help check...my husband in on her tablet when we were quite happy to do it ourselves. Showed us to our table and I noticed it said reservations for pm. My friend was surprised as she said she booked for There were no menus on the table so we thought we had to go to the board then order. Walking to go get drinks I said to my friend there’s no menu at the table and I had taken a photo so I could look through it sitting down. Well this young girl heard us and said there’s paper ones and attempted to give it to us as we were walking towards the bar away from our table to buy drinks instead of taking to the table. She eventually took it to the table when we asked her to as we couldn’t juggle drinks and the unlaminated paper menu. When I came back from buying drinks, we realised she had brought copies for people and the restaurant was empty except for our table. For a first timer like me, this is very bad first impression and that she didn’t get enough training for customer service. She looked lost and didn’t know what to do. Very bad image for the tavern. Food was nice just uncomfortable with such a low table. Visited"
