Visited today for my birthday meal with family, we weren’t disappointed. This gorgeous country pub is not far from the M4 and just up the road from Talbot Green shopping centre. The menu is very well thought out, such a good variety, everything is freshly cooked and looked and tasted delicious. Lovely local pub, didn’t eat but looked really nice. Could be really lovely, but..! The barmaid was very grumpy and offered no conversation, smiles, welcome nor any ‘hospitality’ quality of the ale was great, bar area could do with a lot of attention ‘warmth and welcome feeling, almost like the forgotten part of the pub!
