Great service. Bronzino was fileted tableside and was outstanding. The side of linguine with red sauce was perfect. It was Al dente in a spicy marinara Will be back View all feedback.
What Michael Schuett doesn't like about Uva:
WE love the food at Uva the lobster cake appetizer was outstanding. But the entrees (pasta special) were not spectacular. I had the veal chop and it was very tasty but chewy. The broccoli rabe was stringy too The sewrvice was great; especially the woman who helped us View all feedback.
Eating and service in this restaurant are excellent!
First and foremost, the food was very good. Everyone at our table of 6 enjoyed their meals and thought the food was outstanding. The atmosphere was very nice and the restaurant decor was good. What really set UVA apart from most of the restaurants in the area was the service. It was professional and attentive. The whole staff was very accommodating. It was clear that they viewed their job as making the customer happy. I would highly recommend UVA.
This was our 2nd time at UVA . The first time was great and we decided to come back for my wife’s birthday. The waiter Walter) took our order, had to be prompted to open our wine bottle. It is a byob) and then he disappeared . Someone else brought our meals except mine wasn’t what I ordered. I sent it back and our waiter admitted he wrote the wrong thing down no apology) mine finally arrived and was very tough. At that point we gave up, paid the check, made a comment at the desk and left. To be fair the manager Sean) gave us a card worth $25 on our next visit and told us to ask for him next time.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great food and very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend.
Never disappointed at UVA. Food is always special and delicious. Waitstaff always make you feel welcome.
