What Mary S likes about Balderdash Cellars:
Visited the Berkshires for a cousins weekend. After a rainy morning, the sun came out and on our way back from Stockbridge we stopped at Balderdash. Enjoyed the wine slushies and tried a few flights. Greeted by the owner on the way in, great time, beautiful weather, beautiful scenery and listened to music as we relaxed. Definitely recommended! View all feedback.

10.7.22 What's not to love? Good wine, good atmosphere, good service and good views. This is a great stop every time.

"Stopped in on our way home in search of a good steak. Unfortunately, we did not realize that the steak we saw online was a Valentine's day special and no longer available the following night. So we opted for a cheese charcuterie appetizer, steak frites, and pork tenderloin for our mains. The cheese selection was very nice accompanied by out of this world garlic jam. There was a $5 additional charge to add the charcuterie a helping of speck. We would have appreciated even a $10 add on with more salumi variations. The frites tenderloin while very good, were not exciting in flavor profile. The Burnt Old Fashioned was excellent as was an interesting red varietal (never had it and the name escapes me). Portions were great as well as the staff surroundings."

"When we are at home in the berkshires in our second, we tend to dinate 5 nights per week. we were in all better restaurants numerous paints, including alta, cafe lucia, bistro zinc, brava, etc. lenox is restaurant central . I was asked several times what I thought to be the best. interestingly, the best is by far not even in lenox. it is in w. stockbridge and its name is rouge. maggie, the owner and oliver the chef make an incredible work, both in eating and service. if they know really good eating when they taste it, they will definitely want to go to this restaurant."
