I’ve been going to this place for a long time, and I noticed the changes of manager and employees. Before the Hispanic manager, there was this little white woman who was the manager who seemed like a good lady. But after she left and was replaced by the new manager, I noticed something off about the work environment. I don’t really know how to describe it, but from what I observed, some of the employees maybe are being mistreated. This also applies to the old lady manager. She’s even worse and is seemingly racist. My time here was more unpleasant with her.
First Watch restaurant provides a comfortable and relaxing environment, yet the food left something to be desired. The million dollars bacon was overly peppered, and a shift to overnighting it with brown sugar instead of syrup could enhance its flavor. The hollandaise sauce on the eggs Benedict was excessively blended and overly lemony, and the potatoes lacked seasoning and were too hard. Nevertheless, I see potential in this place. The presentation was excellent, and the customer service was fantastic. However, the payment system may give the impression of a lower-class establishment, as patrons pay at the front rather than the waitress handling the payment. While the restaurant exudes a classy ambiance, it falls short in a few areas.
A very enjoyable place for breakfast or lunch. I went with my daughters and they particularly enjoyed the drink menu. Fresh juices and hot chocolate really hot the spot on a cold winter day. The food looks very good as well. There can be a line to get in, and a line to pay at the end. Besides the wait It is a great place to grab a meal and spend some time.
Best delicious breakfast place I ever had. Waffles and pancakes are fluffy with million dollar bacon. Homemade juices are a must try.
