For those who prefer what I deem 'Rappahannock light ', Rapp Session provides a more casual and intimate raw bar experience complete with retail options on the way out. The seafood tiered tray towers are a delightful way to present a variety of seafood with options for sharing including crab claws, oysters and shrimp. The cocktails are also great! Serious raw bar for Virginia oysters. They are the best I've ever eaten. I suggest the draft beer selection needs a lower ABV hoppy pale ale like Stone's Go To...

I think these guys make some of the best cocktails in Richmond. And you can get the Rappahannock oysters without the fuss of actually going to the Rappahannock....

"Another order that is grounded by hired people who do not seem to listen and do not care. grilled nuggets were ordered because my daughter is gluten-free and has come home to discover regular baked nuggets. yes, it's a big thing because she couldn't eat it, and the drive thru is badly controlled and leads to frustration for many who go through. this place will not get my business anymore, I'm done."

"I’m a long time roots natural kitchen fan from Blacksburg VA, but this location is just awful. The 3 times I’ve ordered from here my bowls have been so poorly mixed. I order 2 el jefe bowls and they looks like different meals entirely (see below). What a shame."
