"We had afternoon tea and everything was delicious, lovely sandwiches, warm scones and tasty cakes. The cakes were proper sliced cakes and not the silly little taster cakes you can sometimes get. A lovely warm welcome from all the staff and we were given a box to take home what we couldn't eat. The best high tea we have ever had. We will definitely be going back again."

"Staff were attentive, dined on a monday so quiet but food came out quickly. Bread and butter starter which is enough for 2. Fish and chips was great, great portion size and very well cooked. Would recommend."

"Hotel sent me here for breakfast. Mushrooms and tomato practically raw, bacon shoeleather-esque with no browning at all, and to top it off the only place in England I’ve been scolded like a child for trying to charge my phone. At least service was quick (though I wish they would’ve taken a bit longer to do it properly)"
