"What a sound, they will not be deceived from this little caffe down a little lane, the panini s and bagels are the best we had. my partner had chickenbacon spinat in a panini he loved it so much, it is another reason to return to the opposite. I had thunfisch zwiebel avocado absolutely nom nom nom. beautiful owners and employees, we definitely visit again! we sat outside, sat but recommended too high, sat all afternoon."

"My partner took me here for my birthday on Friday 25th November we had a really lovely meal, the food was delicious and big in portions! The ribs in particular were good! The pub itself is beautiful with old beams and a lovely fireplace, very warming and welcoming! The staff were very friendly and attentive including the manager/owner. I will definitely be coming back, a lovely hidden gem!"

"We stopped for a lunch as we had been to this pub before and had had a good experience. Unfortunately whilst the food was great, the service today was appalling. We had ordered a side of fries ith pur food, and it was soon obvious to us that the waitress had forgotten to order. That's fine, everyone makes a mistake, but when we chased the order we had no feedback on what was happening and more importantly no apology! After we had complained again because the fries still hadn't arrived. The bar manager basically blanked us, still no apology. When we asked for the bill, again no apology, we said we were not paying for the fries, again no apology, then the bill arrived with no service charge which we would not have paid anyway. But unfortunately us being honest didn't look at what had been tapped on the contact less and the bar staff had added service charge which we didnt realise and definitely wouldn't have paid for. Lesson learnt for us to check in future but for others attending the pub to be mindful of. Shame as food was good"

"Good scores for friendly service and lovely old traditional pub atmosphere. It was quite empty on a Saturday lunchtime so we were seated quickly and easily and service was pretty slick and efficient. The food was tasty enough and some good comments from the group on the fish and chips . My lamb special felt microwaved, it was so so hot that I’m sure the only way this was achieved was with the help of chef mic. It was served on top of the roast potatoes which had gone soggy. That’s not what you want when you go to a picturesque transitional pub. Wouldn’t rush back for a meal I’m afraid."
