"Regent of Rotorua, where to start?? Travelled from Australia to Rotorua and stayed at the Regent of Rotorua. Our experience has left us with a very memorable experience. Karen; what an absolute pleasure to deal with. She ensured that our stay was everything magical. The room was perfect, cleanliness and outstanding, very knowledgeable of the history of Rotorua. Even thou she was very busy, Karen always made herself available to us. Mike; he ensured that our stay was what all customers would expect. We were not treated as just another customer, we were treated as if we royalty- and all customers were treated this way. Funny, because most hotels just want your business, but not Regent of Rotorua. They want every customer to have the best experience possible. From the moment that we arrived, the front desk staff were terrific and we were looked after (actually the service from the lady was amazing). The ladies in the restaurant were outstanding, and the quality of food served exceeds a 5Star standard- thank you! We were even greeted each day by the maintenance man (Harvey) who would be doing his daily rounds- who is a happy-go-lucky man who always brings a smile to one’s face and is always friendly and happy. We also had our baby shower hosted in the main restaurant, and when we walked in we were absolutely amazed by the attention to detail. Everything from the seating and decor arrangement and food was something to be and will be remembered. THANK YOU KAREN, MIKE and staff working on the day at the Regent. On behalf of my myself and my fiancé we thank Regent of Rotorua for going above and beyond. Truely outstanding. We are looking forward to returning to New Zealand- and we will only stay at the Regent. Once again, thank you! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5"

"Looking at other reviews of this pizzeria, I was confident my daughter and I would not be disappointed. I 'm pleased to say Pizzeria Imperfetto not only lived up to our expectations ', but surpassed them! We spent 2 nights ' ' in Rotorua and loved this authentic little place so much the first night; we went back the second too. The lady who served us was attentive, charming and made us feel so welcome. Fresh ingredients ', reasonable prices and a good vibe really completed the best pizza experience I 've had outside of Italy. Can 't wait to come back and try other menu selections '. Just to say, the Tiramisu is outstanding. Thank you Pizzeria Imperfetto, from Emily and Sean"

"A good brunch venue with a unique flavour profile that was delicious. We were the first here on a Wednesday morning, and the service was good. We had two flat whites which were very tasty alongside the eggs and bacon on toast, and the French toast with bacon. The chef had forgotten the bacon but this was cooked and corrected within minutes. This had been recommended both in a blog and a visit New Zealand book, and we certainly would recommend a visit. The French toast came with coconut yoghurt and homemade compote which had an Indian spice taste. These were great additions to breakfast!!"
