"Even in these COVID times Notty’s is wonderful calm, safe place to be. They have a good range of wine, lovely platters of food, a great atmosphere and friendly staff. It’s not a huge establishment but that really doesn’t matter, in fact it adds to the appeal. Hopefully Notty’s will be in Deeping for years to come."

"Coffee is always good but the Scandi has now gone with the change in menu which has lost its scandi touch and smacks of cost saving. This makes the experience no different to Nero’s or Costa. But at double the price it’s no longer worth it. An example being you are now being charged for a tuna and chilli cheese sandwich as you were for salmon We used to put up with the slow and erratic service. I would use for a takeaway coffee but no more"

"This is my local village pub and after stopping off on our way home group of 5 and giving feedback for three of the group that the Abbots Ale was sub standard, and then enquiring about the extra charge for replacement drinks, were told in no uncertain terms that our custom was not welcome again!!! Mate, your're the ring in not a publicans bootlace!! Seriously does this landlord know how to spell customer serivice??? Good luck won't be getting my custom or any of my friends/acquaintances again. "We went for dinner here a few years ago and always said we would return ... So glad we did! I booked for 2 nights and friends came for 1 night Both nights we had gorgeous evening meals and great breakfasts the next day. All were beautifully cooked and presented with locally sourced products faultless Lovely room with tea coffe making facilities both nights they gave us a thermos with fresh milk which was very welcomed Everything was so perfect sitting in the bar in the evening , log fire, and chatting to other guests and locals we could’ve stayed forever! The ultimate bonus was the wonderful, amazing staff who treated us so well and were very friendly and accommodating Nothing was too much trouble for them even when they were really busy in the dining room they still had a great smile and time for a little chat. Can’t wait to go back again and it will definitely be sooner next time."
