"For a place that was turning people away the food was very disappointing. Pollo ai funghi tasted like a ready meal, roast potatoes were like under cooked Aunt Bessie's, and the lasagna just tasted odd with minimal meat and no bechamel sauce. "We stayed at the hotel and booked to eat on the Friday evening. It was a meal for my husband and I. We had Shrimp and lamb starter and it was beautiful and just the right starter size. For main we had the beef and lamb shank. It was delightful. Even bursting to the brim every mouthful had to be finished as wasting any would have been a sin. The puddings sticky toffee pudding and creme brulee baileys were Devine. 10/10 I chose the Sparkling pink to accompany our meal which was also refreshing."
