The Fountains - S San Diego

So finally decided to try them out. Had the fish and chips and it was delicious. The fish is nice a crispy yet delicate in the middle and not overcooked. Chips were perfectly cooked, crunchy yet soft. The coleslaw had good flavor but could use some fresh ground pepper and a little more salt. This restaurant is a definite must try.

Brand new spot in the heart of hotel circle. Great location with and awesome view. Very relaxing atmosphere with the fountains outside. 5 stars for above and beyond great service. Super friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone from the waiter to the barista at the coffee/ dessert station was absolutely amazing. 5 stars for decor, ambient, cleanliness, and overall vibe. 5 stars for an a very good salad with a side of really tasty warm rolls w butter. I also had a latte, and a carrot cake which made the whole meal just completely awesome. Definitely will be returning and definitely recommend this place.

Well, the grounds look like they will be nice. My stepmom has been waiting for this restaurant to open so last Saturday I gave them a call to ask about disabled parking. There was an outgoing message saying to leave a message to make reservations. So I thought they were too busy to answer the phone. I looked on their website for hours and didn't see any, but according to Yelp Google they were open. We drove over to the Legacy Center and saw signs for the restaurant but couldn't figure out where it was at, so we went into the hotel. They told us that Fountains wasn't open during the weekends yet. Would have been nice to note that on their website or even on their Yelp page (which has been claimed). I guess I'll be watching for some reviews to see if we want to try again when they are open on the weekends.

Portions were small and over priced. I guess it's a great place to go eat if you're not hungry. Also, the food could be better. I have had much better at Dennys.

Friendly service and great food for their soft opening. They have specials that are great, however my number one thing to get here are their fries. Always crispy, perfectly seasoned so I almost never need ketchup. They have an assortment of freshly baked cakes, cookies and macaroons as well for some tea to pair with nicely. I Will be going back here again..
