"Excellent food and service. We visited two occasions, and secondly we had the steak and pan roasted truffade, the taste was excellent and the steak very good. We also had the ice desserts that were beautiful. I have a nut... Allergy and staff went out the way to help and gave real friendly service. Salers is located in a beautiful region."

"Too thick crust pizzas. Nothing more. Salads low in charcuterie. This pizzeria does not know the aperol ???!!!! So don't use Spritz. A height. Glaucous atmosphere with garden furniture on the terrace where peppercorns are spread. Smell of cigarettes from staff and customers unbearable. A bucket serves as an ashtray at the door. Too bad, the place is cute and there is real potential. In short, go your own way. Service: Dine in"

"I'm sorry to say that we didn't like this place at all. We were not made to feel welcome, rather a nuisance in fact. The ambience is not warm and the dining room is frightful. I appreciate that we don't all share the same tastes, and it's refreshing often to visit new places, but here ostentation wins over style. However, if you came to Salers, which is gorgeous but wish you had chosen Dubai or Vegas, then this is for you. The food was not of the standard we are used to at home in Rochechouart, where our Logis is consistently very good. My husbands trout was nice, but the puff pastry with blue cheese simply did not rise to the occasion and I just have to beg not to have beef garnished with a sprig of mint....it does not work! Not for me but you may rush to try it."

"Excellent food and service. Large portions in fact probably a bit too big especially the salad starter! Beef was so tender it melted in the mouth. We had a lovely spot on the terrace with a stunning view. Staff very friendly."
