"Delicious french press, great music and open at 05:30! Not adjusting to the SF time zone as I am only here for the weekend, my night was quite long and the first place to open in the neighbourhood was this amazing coffee place. A large french press as seen on the photos is around $6 and the rest of the options are cheaper. Many choices of various lattes and some teas as well. Free wifi, friendly staff and amazing classic tunes playing. Highly recommended"

"I'm glad to see as many (what like) teenagers here. This is probably a fun job if you're young because you basically hang with your friends all layer. As a customer, I have to hang out a lot. Some employees were professional and much more not. It was like I went in a high school at noon. This should be reinforced. My sweet corn-waffle cone flavored ice cream was terrible. It didn't taste like an ingredient. This is the first time in my life I had ice cream that I can honestly say was terrible. I don't even know how it tasted. I didn't know ice could taste bad. I thought the worst thing you could do would be a moderate batch. But no; it is completely possible, and Salt Straw nails it. The Strawberry Caesar/Cilliantro/lime Ice was much better, but you don't taste the Zilantro or the Lime. This is something I hate about this trendy, unique flavor combination ice cream. They throw a few things into a lot and a taste dominated. If we don't want to taste it, don't waste the ingredients. Many hypes, but nothing special or new."

"They serve up some pretty good bagels! Got the crunchy spice sandwich on a bialy bagel. Quite the hearty breakfast. The bagel was crisp on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. Service was also quite quick, only had to wait 5 minutes or so (probably helped that it was super quiet on the Friday morning I went) Will definitely be back to try out their sandwiches and a classic bagel with just a spread!"
