"It is about the mood. old school English feeling takes it back in the time. sandakan itself runs on another set of speed (slower) so they take their time and take a deep breath as they eat some decent food here."

"I came here for lunch. Many choice and varieties of fresh seafoods. All kind of clams are also fresh. The steam prawn is also fresh and big size. The fried squid is unique bcoz they r babies and very crunchies...it goes well with beers. The environment is not so pleasant, sometimes u can smell the bad rubbish smell from surround the area. Anyway, it is quite surprise to us as it is quite good and not as bad as those comments here."

"We stayed for three nights and found every staff member that we encountered very polite, friendly and would always be willing to go out of their way to assist. The rooms were spacious, well cleaned daily by friendly staff, and had most facilities that you would expect. The breakfast and evening meals were great value and a huge variety. We never came across one staff member who would not greet you in a friendly manner, answer or contact someone to get your required information and assist in any form possible. Could not believe some comments expressed, unless there has been a total change in customer service. A great view over the water. Would recommend to anyone who wanted to stay in Sandakan. A big tick from us."

"One of the best places to eat in Sandakan whilst enjoying the cool breeze at night. A perfect place for celebrating special occasions. They open the restaurant till midnight. The staffs are friendly, though they may not be able to serve you properly during peak hours. Overall great experience!"
