"What a find! We normally travel into Avallon or one of the other nearby bigger towns but Icim'aime is very close to our home, and we will definitely go back. The welcome was warm and we were shown to a table in the modern restaurant....We all ate off one of the set menus. There was a choice of two starters, two mains and two desserts, as there was a board with suggestions of the day we were able to choose off that also. A plate of delicious amuse bouche was put on the table whilst we made our choices, it was obvious from the moment it was put on the table we were in for a treat. All the dishes were beautifully presented, worthy of a Michelin star, tasty and great ingredients. The highlight was a dessert of apple tart like I've never seen before! The work that had gone into the presentation, taste etc was extraordinary. The service was attentive but not intrusive and very pleasant. A very nice, not overpriced, bottle of wine, excellent food, lovely service made this an evening that was perfect. We will definitely be returning."

"Very French. Although very busy we were made to feel very welcome. The Charolais steak was absolutely delicious and we were advised how to have it saignant! The best steak we had the whole holiday and very reasonably priced. The salad of cheese and...charcuterie was very tasty."
