"If I could give it a -1 I would. The manger was rude and refuses a refund on my hair infested chicken sandwich as well as my lean cuisine chicken bowl. This would be ok if it was bk or fast food. For the prices I paid this was completely ridiculous. Would absolutely not recommend this to anyone."

"Mom and I are going to wiscasset to get the wild maine blueberries. there are always a few stands on the side of the road this time of the year and thought we would be here for lunch on the way back because of the bright reviews and fantastic pictures. Except we had a terrible time here. the Asian looking guy (see photo) was so stressed he was extremely short in his words and came out of the müll. He told me that he was training the grandson of the owner and was slow and repeatedly failed. no offensive cucumber, but if he's messing up, it's because the trainer is doing something wrong! the fish is fresh, but they served it directly from the container and all the water released from the crab was in my roasted (soggy) roll without mayo. the cole Slav was a 2oz container and it came warm, it should be cold. the only thing that tasted good were the laien kartoffel chips. Beyond that, the Asian guy who took our order was so mad at the enkel, he blew him out and told him he should just stop the *eff out* and stop! the enkel was so embarrassed and apologised. they either have to move the trainer or get a new one. he's bad for business! we'll never be back."

"UNSAFE FOOD HANDLING Big tall guy with sideburns, has probably worked there for the past decade has clearly become complacent. This is not the first time I witnessed this, honestly have seen it many times over the years. He regularly wears gloves while making food, then handles cash and the register. Then he goes straight back to handling food without changing the gloves or washing his hands. Today's visit, I specifically saw him handle sandwiches with blue gloves, then the register (same gloves), then go out back and handle pizza spatulas with the same gloves, then go back to working sandwiches WITH THE SAME GLOVES. This is such an in-your-face insult to customers who already pay hefty amounts for mediocre food. I do not know his name, but he's easy to recognize. Larger, kinda tall guy with longish sideburns. If he's making your food. Keep an eye on him, I guarantee you'll see the same thing I regularly do. Someone needs to re-train or reprimand this guy. Clearly has no regard for customer's health or safety. I've always been a big fan of Amato's and they usually provide great quality. So it really stinks that this big wart is ruining a great location. Next time I see him handle food like this in front of me, a video will get filmed and posted for sure. If he was handling others food like this, I'm sure mine was probably too. Who knows, if he's handling food like that after handling the register without changing gloves or washing, he must be also handling the store phone, what else, his personal phone that he uses in the bathroom, the toilet scrubber? Just a big slap in the face. He should be ashamed."

"This is the first sit down AJs I've been to. Also noticed they were pretty quick. I've often been annoyed going to AJs because they're slow. Almost seems intentional but this one was nice and quick.The bathroom was nice enough. I did have to wait for 5 minutes to get in it. Not saying it's where employees go to take breaks but I'm not saying it isn't. ; .Lots of good parking."
