I stopped for lunch at this charming café while on the Borders Abbey Way. The staff were very welcoming and the atmosphere was friendly, attracting both locals and tourists. I took advantage of my rest day by enjoying a delicious soup and sandwich with fresh bread and a wide variety of fillings, followed by coffee and a tasty dessert. It was a fantastic spot to take a break, and I highly recommend it. View all feedback.
What jjn2089 doesn't like about Cream Puff:
The staff were pretty miserable and I’m pretty sure our custom was an inconvenience to them. Then I was told I had to spend a minimum of £5 to use my card otherwise the lady behind the counter ‘wouldn’t make any money’ and it wouldn’t be worth her while… I didn’t have any cash so a friend and I pooled our orders as we only stopped for a coffee.
