"Served my friend gluten when she had an allergy to gluten. She only took a few bites but still was so sick for days after and they offered to serve her something else but by that time it was too late. My friend told them about her allergy and they didn't follow through. This could've been very bad."

"Eating is always amazing at bistro and our waiter was excellent. the only unfortunate incident was the abrasiveness of the hostess, which is ever rude when we eat there. we wondered if we could sit on another table and she accused us that she promised someone, then when we asked to dimme the lights she just said: "I don't know the whole restaurant affects"! her whole art was evil and would have delivered her budding in a more friendly ton, it would have been absolutely in order. it is very disappointing that this is the person who welcomes guests, which could be a beautiful facility."

"We love our local diner! DHD is always a good choice. Large diner-style menu with large daily special lists also, and all-day breakfast. We stopped in for lunch yesterday and had two specials, a spicy shrimp hero sandwich and a steady sandwich. Both were sizable and delicious. (Dix Hills Dinner also often throws a couple of onion rings in orders of fries, which is always a fun surprise. Our kids split a chicken finger kids? meal. The kids? meals all come with the option of ice cream for dessert, and our server was so kind that he brought two dishes of ice cream, one for each kid. The ice cream was also very good! Not just a cheap soft serve, but real scoops of quality vanilla ice cream. Everything is clearly made with very quality ingredients. The taste is always excellent. If you?re in the mood for classic American diner-style, I can?t recommend the Dix Hills diner highly enough."
