"Fantastic eating and great service! all 4 members of our party enjoyed what they ordered and thought the portion sizes were very generous. I had the lamb rap that was beautiful, they clearly used quality ingredients and take them great care with every product on the plate. I can't expect to come back, it's so good to have such a large family restaurant in front of the place."

"Desborough fish bar is probably the best fish and chip shop in the university! the ladies who care about them are very friendly, very helpful (I will explain why in short . the load is super clean and neat. the portions are amazing and it is a great value for their money. I worked on Sunday at the station road, I discovered the local chippy, got all excited, could not wait until 4 o'clock to come. had a conversation with my superior phil (top man, we agreed that I had my break shortly after 16:30, right into the chippy, the beautiful ladies greeted me and wow! the biggest fish drink I have ever seen (nickname the shark! . so big I asked the ladies (sorry that I didn't get their names when they could cut it in the half that they could have. many thanks for the best fishing and chips I have experienced in the old. you are the best, brilliant xx"

"Ordered tonight for collection and was told 20 minutes. We arrived to collect and was told the order had been lost and that we needed to wait for more food to be cooked. When we got home there was no rice for the curries so I called the restaurant to explain and ask them to deliver us some rice. The lady was very rude and was shouting down the phone at me saying we didn’t even order rice. (Who orders a curry and no rice?! she shouted that she doesn’t have any delivery drivers anyway and continued to say we didn’t order. Awful customer service which is a shame because food has always been nice"

"We went last night and had an amazing meal the food was delicious, service was brilliant, we really couldn't find fault with anything! The meal even got two thumbs up from our 9 13 year olds. We'll definitely be going again soon :"
