"We had been here before , so we were not surprised with how good everything was , all around . New management in the fall doesn't seem to have changed anything . We had the penultimate Swiss Weiner Schnitzel , wit mushroom sauce on the side . Exquisite . Nice folk , nice feeling , nice tablecloths and napkins ! A great evening ."

"There was a warm welcoming and the atmosphere was special as the Fisherman’s Wharf was in full view from our window seating…the low key environment made for a relaxing dinner meal..the mushroom soup was very tasty and the hamburger and fries was of freshness and quality.. my wife’s seafood linguini was quite tasty and a generous portion..no photos..after the meal we walked along the very beautiful viewing wildlife and the sunset along Cowichan Bay"

"We have been customers since it opened, but since the owners have not been in charge of customer service, rudeness has crept in- for instance, on our last visit a staff member openly complained about having to open the chiller to sell us some cake near the close of business! Unbelievable attitude! Then we were charged $5 for a piece of cake! there is no price list for cake or baked goods which is unacceptable. Very disappointing!"
