visited barrington for the weekend as a beautiful change of the landscape to london. the pub was 5 minutes to walk from where we stay and it ended up being our little jewel! we had such a nice time and the weather was on our side. the staff was very friendly and attentive. eating was amazing! Fairly regular visitors, a few times a year and for many years. On this visit, staff wonderful as always. Friendly, attentive and fun to be amongst. Regrettably less so the food. Sunday lunch disappointing to say the least. Beef good, vegetables massively overcooked, just a heap of damp greenery. Potatoes poor, Yorkshire puddings had clearly been left standing for sometime.
