This was our third visit to kendal arms. Our first two were a little disappointing but they were way back when it first opened. Yesterday the food was excellent. We chose the carvery and although it was 2pm there was nothing to suggest we were eating up what was left. The meat was beautiful and the portion generous. We found they were fine at cooking the basic food but my daughter opted for a Vegetable Curry, it looked more like a soup with loads of cream and a few vegetables thrown in,I had a Tangine, there was a lack of cous cous and loads of tomatoes. If you do opt to eat here you may be best to choose the simple things like ribs or a burger. Service was good and all the staff were polite. View all feedback.
