"Went for breakfast on Tuesday 17th May, had the small breakfast, it was delicious the bacon was really thick and very tasty as were the sausages. The egg was lovely and runny. The granary bread was very fresh. All in all a very pleasant experience, will definitely be going back before the end of our holiday."

"We called at 2.30 a.m. and unfortunately no one answered to take the reservation, so the booking ended somewhere else. After the alternative option had proven to be non-so-ideal, we tried to get through the new inn and were happy enough to get a table. our evening then took a dramatic turn for the better. justin and julia were the most perfect host and so inviting. we sat at a nice, cozy table, they explained the extensive menu in detail and were attentive to our needs. we had to start the Turkish carrots (this was simply sublime, then a special of hake and the cannon (so tasty and with chips, kartoffels and much veg- everything cooked to perfection! . for dessert we had honey ice cream, which was again super tasty and a huge part! fantastic meal, beautiful environment and the perfect gassers. wish that we were longer in the opposite to try other dishes again! cannot recommend enough. thanks for a perfect evening"

"Very disappointed with a visit here for my 60th Birthday. We have been coming to the restaurant for the past 20 years and we have always had great food great service good value. I'm not sure if it is under new ownership but the menu has changed which in itself is fine. The menus on the table were plastic and sticky not a good start. We were sat next to the toilet even though we booked the first server was surly to say the least. Considering our table was for 5.30 surely there was no need to seat us there. The choice of food was disappointing there used to be a banquet meal which was great value but that has gone now. All in all not what i expected for what was a significant birthday treat. I could have spent that £100 and enjoyed the food elsewhere"
