What Stephen Wilson likes about Cafe Alfresco:
really nice caffe on the victoria street in the middle of the St Albans city station and the city center. fair small, very clean and family run (I suppose) I very prefer to support independent places. Eating and coffee is a good quality, served quickly and cheap. I haven't tried all day breakfast yet, but I'm tempted. disabled wc is a great note and always friendly service also recommended. What Christopher Cox doesn't like about Cafe Alfresco:
Food great, service great, friendly..but intolerably hot in the summer. It has air con, but it has never been used in the years I have been going. Relatively useless fans are plugged in when the fancy takes, but is by no means policy. Could be...so much more comfortable during what are becoming regular heatwaves. View all feedback.

The restaurant also provides suitable seating for its smallest guests in the form of baby high chairs, and there's a counter where you can sit and taste. The seat / dining area invites you to linger and extensively enjoy, Depending on the weather, you can also sit outside and be served.
