Went in a nearby pub and walked out due to slow service. We came here and it saved the day. Really nice ambience inside. Food came quickly band was nice. Dessert could have been larger. Waitress got a bit confused at one point but second waitress was nice and efficient. Friendly guy brought the food out. Overall a nice Sunday lunch in a nice town. I don't rate the pubs nearby really so this is a good alternative. read more.

We had a meal here last week. We hadn’t booked a table but there was no need as the restaurant was empty around 4:00 p.m. We had two young children with us. There was a high chair available for our 18 month old. The service was very slow. My husband ordered a salad and it was late coming to the table after all the hot meals had arrived.
