the best fish and chips! bonus is added that they are gluten-free Wednesdays. very friendly staff and good eating!
good quality fish 'n 'chips. four stars as big cod were not so big. the last 3 4 were basically the skin in the dough, which should have been cut off!

"The coffee and one of the cakes were fine but the millionaires shortbread was so hard it was inedible. Whilst it's great you have some tables down a steep hill this isn't ideal for people who can't manage this, could you put a few tables near the exit/chickens?"

"A cute little coffee shop with friendly staff and great coffee. Cyclists are always welcome and it’s always nice to rest for a while. I needed a pump, slow puncture, that’s no problem as they have one available. A good place to chill and chat before during or after your ‘Saddle Time’."

"This place came highly recommended, now I know why. We got a lovely friendly welcome, offered a coffee straight away. The staff are helpful and attentive, with the chef checking on our meal to make sure we were happy. A nice menu with a good...range of options to choose from. I had the pancakes with honey, fruit and yoghurt. Plenty to eat, looked and tasty lovely. The hubby had poached eggs on toast with bacon and beans, which he said was very good, when he didn’t have his head down, tucking in. Out of town, so very easy to park. All round, great place."

"Like the previous reviewer I was also here for my, and my friend's, birthdays. The decor is attractive but not matched by the food, which is bland , boring and plain. They did not have our chosen wine on the menu and the waiter suggested a substitute which was also bland and extremely disappointing."
