Based on the average evaluation of 4, the The Bay Cafe is definitely worth a visit.

What Théophile Meyer likes about The Bay Cafe:
We showed up to have breakfast, but we're running late and arrived just as they had closed. They offered to make use a BLT for the road as the restaurant was already closed. Enjoyed the BLT. Thank you for going above! View all feedback.

What Stéphane Camus doesn't like about The Bay Cafe:
This is the only restaurant in the vicinity. The menu consists of basic dishes from the region, it's nothing fancy. Bay St Lawrence is small, quaint with friendly inhabitants, that's the charm of it. It's great that there is even a restaurant at all. Moreover, practically everything on the menu is local, we can't ask for more. Good job ladies! View all feedback.

"A bit expensive for a night. the views are beautiful and the sun rises in the morning near the rocks. There are hot water and showers, there is a restaurant, but it was not opened when I was there. It's the first choice, so if you don't get early, you won't get a nice place. There are many places to camp."

"Had an incredible house cooked meal with vegetables from the garden. Tons of character the decor adds to the madness!"

"Tasty food, but make sure you have cash. The first night we didn't have enough and it was late, but they had no problem letting us take the food. We paid the next day, and ate there each day of our trip."

"After an hour driving along really bumpy roads and potholes galore in the pouring rain, we finally arrived in Meat Cove. We were able to see the beautiful view even through the rain and it truly was breathtaking. The Chowder Hut is now no longer a restaurant but rather a food truck serving all of the same food by the same owner and it was the BEST Seafood chowder we had on our trip. However, we were only able to get 1 bowl as she was sold out! We will have to go back for more someday!"

"Small and quaint with a family feeling! Service was great! Food was good! Just wish instead of frozen vegis being served a salad is included the grilled halibut was awesome."
