"Great place to stop by on our way to the glacier. Friendly host and great food in the cafe. We had beef noodle soup which is perfect for the humid and foggy weather we had that day before hiking in the glacier. The RV site is super quiet at night during our stay, even though it is close to the road. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Lots of clean bathrooms. We didn't use the shower and laundry but they do offer that as well. Food: 5"

"5 stars for the great location. Sip a beer looking at the beautiful Matanuska glacier. The food was delicious. If you get hold of the corner spot overlooking the glacier, you could spend endless time just staring at the beauty. The lodge has great all wood ambience with taxidermy Alaskan wild animals. I got the grilled salmon sandwich and was pretty good."

"Good place for lunch with a view of Matanuska Glacier. This place is very close to Matanuska hiking point. There is a coin operated telescope at the outside that gives you the close view of glacier. The place is very cozy and staffs are friendly. Got a window seat and enjoyed awesome view with food. We ordered spicy mushroom burger, glacier cookie and black coffee. The food is decent, the glacier cookie is good for 2-3person."

"Just went to restaurant and had great Lunch time. Great food with plenty of veggies options available too. Service was really nice. Situated in such remote area kudos to entire staff for making food available to all visitors. Didn’t get chance to stay at this place but if we visit Alaska again will definitely stay here. Awesome landscapes and helicopter tours availability from here too"
