We stopped in here before and after our stay to the Canaan Campsite. The waitress was very friendly and even remembered us on the second day. The coffee and cak...

Great coffee and cakes. They have a lot of wool stuff that is from their own sheep. Highly recommended to break the long ride to/from Takaka.

Jessica and her staff are great ..... they bake delicious cakes and make a good coffee and I love their wool ! Its always worth a visit ! Maya and Steve

And amazing place, need to stop have coffee tea a great food, some lovely things to buy, highly recommend this spot lots to see feed the animals

"Excellent food, great service. The buttered chicken was pretty good, but would probably try the ribs next time. Good feedback on the garlic prawns as a main. Also the fish of the day was good. Nice selection of desserts and some good beer options."

"I had a meal at Hooked on Marahau recently with a friend.<br/ We had fantastic seats looking out to sea at the end of the day as the light faded. There is indoor and outdoor seating to suit your needs.<br/ Zoe is an excellent host, very welcoming, and made it seem you we're having dinner at her place.<br/ We must recommend their squid dish and give it 5 <br/ They were the biggest rings I have seen, with an exquisite and subtle flavor, and without a doubt melted in your mouth. <br/ Squid lovers you must try this dish, you will not be disappointed! <br/"

"This is a hidden gem. This venue has been a cafe for many years, but with this new ownership (owner is the chef) it is amazing. I have been before to enjoy their delicious coffee and donuts, but this visit was for an evening meal and food was to die for, the service friendly and personal. I will definitely be going back at every opportunity."
