"I was here shortly before Christmas in 2018 and still remember. it was dark, I just got the last ferry from waiheke, and I was hungry after a whole day of mountain biking an island without food except a banana. I followed my nose here and I am so glad that I did it. Excellent fishing and chips, excellent beer, friendly and helpful staff (I was not in auckland since 2012 and the dings were changed, I was a bit out of the way) when I returned, I will eat here again."

"This had to be one of the best French Bistro's we have been to. The atmosphere is perfect, the food superb beautifully presented, generous portions, beautifully selected dinnerware, glasses etc. The service was impeccable the soufflé was without a doubt the best I have ever had anywhere in the world.
