I have been to El Rey 3 times in the past few months, and my first visit was an-after- dinner visit, so I only got the chance to dive into their Mezcal menu, which on its own is worthy of a visit to this establishment. Enjoyed a star studded dinner and top notch service at Grey Gardens last night and wanted to top things off with a shot of tequila. So we headed down the street and around the corner to El Ray. Excellent margaritas, with choice of spirit (mezcal or not). Nachos with guacamole also very good! We sat outside a hot day and saw the world over.
