"We were looking for the Michelin guide and found this restaurant. while in toulon there are no Michelin-star restaurants, this is quite nice. the entry is quite small as the whole dining room, and there are really not so many tables, so we think. a reservation is in the rule a good idea. there is a server and it is very charming and helpful. that was our first experience with such a restaurant. we are used to much deeper menus and teams of service employees. that seems to be a restaurant of a cook and a server. nevertheless the experience is quite pleasant. we weren't rushed to keep waiting. all our courses came elegantly plated, maybe a little over-elaborate. in some cases this disguised a particularly laborious part. Nevertheless, each preparation was nicely fed, well prepared and compromised. while there were questions, there were never problems. the wine pairings were accordingly free. we liked that the server asked our preferences while they chose to guide us. the server has also spoken to us about the restaurant and the menu. Apparently, the menu is seasonal and remains fixed for each season, after which it changes. as there are four net parts in the menu in the grunde, they cannot try something else too often before the menu switches. Nevertheless, the prices are reasonable and the price fixing is an acceptable option, for a fine restaurant. this nice little bistro seems to have many repeating customers, as some people dressed very casually and sitting as if they read the morning paper. at the end of the evening we were thanked by the owners who are a nice note. Overall we were satisfied and would be happy to come back, but it is not the type full service volume price operation that you usually meet in this echelon."
