The table we wanted, when we wanted! Excellent service, attentive and relatively quick considering the landing. The meals were very tasty and delicious!

It's a pub restaurant. Large selection on the menu. The favorable prices and the view from the upper balcony were great. The spicy Mayo is great!

"Having high tea at the Empress is an occasion rather than a meal. The decor, atmosphere and service are excellent. This is an experience to remember. The attention to detail is remarkable. The serving staff are perfect. For the food, we were given each: one scone with jam and/or clotted cream, 4 finger sandwiches plus a mini quiche, and an assortment of exquisite little desserts, from macaron to a confection of chocolate mousse, raspberry mousse, nougat and chocolate shell. The tea is excellent as well. I'm not a huge tea drinker, but I drank several cups of tea with no sweetener. It was delicious. If you visit Victoria, you have to have tea at the Empress. The view is terrific as well."
