this is a small place with a friendly, domestic feeling. we actually stayed a little longer than we expected and chatted with the woman who worked there. eating...

nothing special. the breakfast was served quite quickly. coffee was okay. I hear that lunch is good here, but had no time to hurt

We stopped here for breakfast at the recommendation of Doris at Sheppard's B&B, and it was everything we wanted: good cooking, friendly service, and good price....

"Very cute restaurant. You are greeted by the owner who is so enthusiastic and happy. She has her opening spiel where she tells about the history of the restaurant, which is cute. She is also very accommodating and helpful. Food is well presented and fresh. Unfortunately it was a little bit small. Ie crabs didn't come with any starch. I'm not a big bread or potatoes fan normally, but you need something to fill you up since crab isn't the most filling. However, overall great experience :"

"We sipped on Keurig coffee while enjoying a delicious made-to-order turkey sandwich on homemade bread. Sheila was great company and a great host. There were lots of souvenirs and gifts to choose from, and a dairy bar which unfortunately we were too stuffed to try out.Would highly recommend this place!"

"This inn was possibly one of our most popular places where we stayed during our two week trip to Newfoundland. So much thought and care were obviously taken when it was recently renovated a few years ago to relax this into a perfect place and after a long trip or a day of exploring Gros Morne. The spacious lounge, bar, restaurant and cosy rooms were all perfectly clean and comfortable with many places to enjoy the view of the Bay of Bonne. Great hot and cold breakfast. Free laundry facilities available. Our room had a walk in the shower, a Keurig coffee machine and fridge. Wifi worked well. It was a two-minute drive to the Gros Morne Discovery Center, 10 minutes to Table Lands Hike and 15 minutes to the Green Garden Trailhead. What brings Bonne Bay Inn above the top for us was our host Darlene (and her lovely dog, Bergie! Darlene was the best host and one of the warmest, friendly people we met throughout our journey. So friendly, helpful and chatty, without being intrusive, she really made our trip! We wish we had spent more than one night at the Bonne Bay Inn and walk out of our way to find out how to stay there when we revisit Newfoundland!"

"Went here 3 days in a row (24,25,26 July) when in Gros Morne national park. Food and beverages were consistently good - cappuccino,croissants beef stew, turkey panini, chicken curry were all excellent. Service was mixed. Staff on duty the first two days were great - welcoming and friendly especially the manager/owner. Different staff on our final visit were not friendly or welcoming and definitely need some training on customer service. Overall we loved this place and highly recommend."
