"Incredibly good ice cream in a large range of flavours (all labelled to say if they were GF). Gluten free cones also available on request, so great for our coeliac daughter. One of the two best ice cream shops I have ever visited."

"Amazing food, every dish was full of flavour. Menu had a good variety for food and drinks, cocktails were top notch. Can’t decide which one was my favourite as they were all great. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Would definitely go back and would highly recommend to anyone."

"Just got back from a week staying in Satterthwaite and went to the pub most nights for a drink. Our dog Pero embarrassed himself but Bob the pub dog had a lot of fun with him. It was lovely to have a pub 2 minutes walk away and especially one that felt cozy. One note... They could make a fortune if they got some more quality scotch behind the bar, a lagavulin 16, Oban 14 or a Bowmore 15... Service: 5"

"Beautiful 16th century pub and rooms. A cosy Inn with delightful food, lovely breakfast, lots of tables but busy so advised to pre-book for food. We stayed in the Cartmel Fell room which was lovely, well thought out and comfortable although the low beam over the pillows was an issue. Even so we would stay again. Rooms: 4 Service: 5 Location: 5"
