"Interesting and quirky little restaurant that has a very unique concept for ordering and delivering food to your table. Average tasting food for an above average price. Looks like a lot of people like this place based on these reviews but I didn’t get it. Have had better Thai food for less. To each his own."

"Found Hula Cookie when we departed on a snorkeling tour and basically declared this as a must when we returned. So glad we did too! The staff, service and shop were excellent. The menu is an ice cream and cookie lovers dream. My husband and I were easily able to share one ice cream cookie sandwich. We ordered one of the signature creations, and we were not disappointed. Two warm cookies sandwiched between premium ice cream, you just can't go wrong. Now, I am not sure this is anon-dairy friendly establishment, but they do also serve shaved ice and espresso items as well. Overall, just make sure to stop here if your Hawaiian journey brings you through Maalaea."

"No matter what, Tasty Crust never fails to deliver. It's been 3 years since I've been there and it still tastes exactly the same as when I was as kid. Mac but pancakes? Ono. Plate lunches. Delicious. Staff? Incredibly friendly. They are very upfront about being short staffed, but the food came out fairly quickly. Kudos in the kitchen. Highly recommend, although selfishly, I want to keep it locals only. "

"Probably my favorite restaurant on the island. the art of the place you would drive past without taking a second look as it is a humble building, but eating is superlatiw. recommend to the crispy pork and kimchi fried rice! the staff is friendly and eating comes quickly! known among the locals, but all are welcome. if they've been on the island before, but never have been here, it's a must try!"

"We went there for our anniversary We had a 7 o'clock reservation, we got seated before 7:05, lots of people waiting, (don't try walking in just after sunset, all the Kiehi restaurants fill up then. They were short staffed, but the staff was doing an excellent job. The onion soup is wonderful. I had a perfect med rare prime rib. My wife got an excellent New York. Their desserts are fantastic. We will definitely be back Thank You"

"Popular fish tacos finally stopped by after passing by for years. Friends rave about this place. Had fish tacos. Seared Ahi sandwich and calamari plate. Food was very good taco are not traditional style I'm used to in So. Cal. But very good. Little pricey if on a buget but you get plenty enough to eat. Fast friendly eat in or outside."
