"I and the young were on a road trip and we were in different fish and chip places in quite wales. that must be the best we ever tasted. the fish was so beautiful and crispy, but soft in the inner we were in unbelief. the chips were also very punctual. the service was however the best part of the meal. all staff were very friendly and helpful gave us a lot of time to decide what to eat and even let us taste the salt and pfeffer tintenfisch! amazing youngs thank them"

"We enjoyed an amazing Easter Sunday lunch as a family with something on the menu for everyone. The roast was incredible, as always, and the desserts are to die for. Service was impeccable all dietary requirements were checked and catered for and the staff...are all very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended but you will need to book in advance."

"Great spot, right in the waters edge- next to the museum. My partner had fish and chips which was amazing. Sadly I went for the carbonara- which was tasteless. However, the rest of the food looked good and the girls were really friendly. I’d advise booking as it’s small and busy"

"We wanted a fish and chip shop somewhere near the Menai Strait and found the Codmother online. We didn’t pre order but this was no issue- three small cod and a large chips to share, all cooked to order in 15 minutes. And it was all delicious! Beautiful crispy batter and delicate fish. Highly recommended! Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner"
