"Having high tea at the Empress is an occasion rather than a meal. The decor, atmosphere and service are excellent. This is an experience to remember. The attention to detail is remarkable. The serving staff are perfect. For the food, we were given each: one scone with jam and/or clotted cream, 4 finger sandwiches plus a mini quiche, and an assortment of exquisite little desserts, from macaron to a confection of chocolate mousse, raspberry mousse, nougat and chocolate shell. The tea is excellent as well. I'm not a huge tea drinker, but I drank several cups of tea with no sweetener. It was delicious. If you visit Victoria, you have to have tea at the Empress. The view is terrific as well."

"Great little spot with a nice, friendly vibe. Wonderful staff and a clean business. Good sandwiches, room for improvement on the bread selection, but happy and satisfied nonetheless. Definitely worth an espresso and a breaky or regular sandwich if you need something made with love."

"Best Macaron I've ever had!!!! It's bit small size but it's enough to enjoy each flavor cause they have their own special taste and very rich! I tried 6 macarons which were all incredibly delicious!!!! My favorite one was Yuzu. In my opinion, I would like to pass the Crust bakery(they are good too! and spend more money to Bon Macaron!"

"The food here is great. I've eaten many things from the menu and there's no loser in the pile. The service... the people are kind, hard working, and some welcome you with a smile and even remember your name, but there were mistakes... in my orders many times. From the absence of protein I ordered, no dressing on the feature salad, to my order not in the kitchen 2Xs. I command that's a problem. In one case, I called and was told that my order would last 10 to 15 minutes when I arrived that my order had not been submitted and in this case my order took 40 minutes to process other people who came after I arrived to pick up were eating before I even received my order. Instead of a macro dish My order was a salad with 2 eggs. Every person of the team blamed me. There have now been 5 incidents in a total of 10 orders that have been made within the last 2 months. I also encourage picnics to look at their workflows as they communicate with each other and suggest the following sentence: How can we do this for you? I encourage customers to check their orders: cheers."

"Farm to table. I had half, which is like no pancakes you've ever tried to make with beet plucked cream topping and eggs Benedict with cashew sauce. Get there early as this is a trendy lively location. Service was perfect."

"I had a lovely dinner with the hubster at the Lido. We had a salad and shared a pizza. It was busy and windy, but warm. We ended up sitting inside near the door to keep cool. Everything was good. We will go back."
