"Spice Valley Indian Cuisine Hey all! I don't do this often, but I needed to put this out there. This is by far one of the best restaurant's in Victoria, and for sure the best Indian restaurant. If 10 stars were an option, they would get 20 from us..The experience we got tonight was beyond exceptional. The food is exceptional. Always fresh and full of flavor, there is not one thing we have tried that we haven't loved. Since finding this gem they have been a regular staple for us. It's that good!!!! One thing that outshines its food (almost an impossible feat) is their customer service. The level of care, detail, and love they give their customers is incredible. This can only come from the passion of a local family run restaurant. It does not matter if you eat in house or order deliver from Skip they always go above and beyond for their customers. If you have not tired this restaurant Do it now!!! You won't be disappointed."

"I am currently sitting in Saltchuck, enjoying a tart and a pie while I wait for the traffic to die down. The pies and tarts are so remarkable and delicious, I've come back a second time today after picking up lunch here today already. I have been eating here for many years and I look forward to many more. The food is 11/10, the customer service is always 11/10, and I never leave here without a humongous smile on my face. I never leave without a full belly either! Saltchuck is one of the best food service establishments in greater Victoria. Today my service from Ella was amazing, both times, and if I had my way I would come back every day for lunch! Don't stop doing what you do, Saltchuck. I hope you stick around for a very long time!"

"Always fantastic and worth the wait. I’ve never had a problem with their management or customer service, and they’re always kind when we come in to place an order or call over the phone. Learn what time to order, as they get busy (and guess what? there’s nothing wrong with them being busy). If you can’t order over the phone, come in and wait with someone or bring a book. The atmosphere in the resturant is great! Sit down, have a beer or a pop, and relax. They’re doing the best they can, and have got many more customers than they expected since they opened. Rock on, Chicken 649! You got a customer for life here."

"On a recent trip to Victoria, my husband I tried Chimac Korean loved it. We went at opening time (noon) had a great waiter. The service was good the food delicious. I tried their spicy chicken soup my husband had the chicken gizzards. The portions are quite filling. It is a small and cozy restaurant/pub with great food. Shout out to our waiter unfortunately we did not think to get his name. When in Victoria, we definitely would go back."

"Pho U is one of the few restaurants that we like in town so when we learned that they reopened for takeout we had to get some of our favourites. We had salad rolls and kkangpunggi(spicy garlic fried chicken and it was super delicious as usual : we hope they stay open for business as long as they can during this pandamic. Keep up the good work guys!"
